Promotional Video for MeiFuHui
To celebrate Meifuhui's decade-long success, I directed and produced a 5-min short film featuring interviews with three employees who benefited from the program. The film demonstrates how Meifuhui’s services have positively influenced employees’ lives, reinforcing the program's value to Medtronic’s workforce. The video was screened across all displays at Medtronic’s Shanghai headquarters for one month in July 2023.
I served as the director, writer, and post-producer of the project. My responsibilities included contacting staff, organizing logistics, writing scripts, overseeing on-site production, and managing post-production. The project spanned one month from conception to completion.

The primary goal was to produce a polished, professional film that celebrates Meifuhui’s impact and engages employees across Medtronic. A secondary goal was to craft a relatable and inspiring narrative to reinforce the program's value.

Challenges
The key challenge was creating a meaningful narrative that encapsulated a decade of benefits in a concise and engaging video format. Limited production time and coordinating staff availability were additional constraints.

Design Process
The process began with identifying suitable employees to interview and drafting a storyboard that highlighted their stories. Logistics included booking venues and coordinating schedules for filming. Storyboarding and scripting were refined iteratively to ensure clarity and engagement. On-site shooting involved managing interviews and b-roll footage, followed by detailed editing and post-production in Adobe Premiere and CapCut to deliver a seamless final product.

Results
The film was successfully launched in July 2023, broadcasting on all screens at Medtronic’s Shanghai headquarters for a month. The project increased awareness and appreciation for the Meifuhui program among employees. Metrics such as positive employee feedback and program engagement indicated the film’s success in meeting its objectives.
